There's just not enough room for our toxic culture there. Confucian ideals hold back innovation and cause some types of corruption, but they provide order to a truly massive number of people. There are no races or subclasses of human, unless you're posting from the 19th century. Their are ethnicities and local differences but the use of race is tendentious.
There's been a couple threads like this where some of us unfortunately use strong language backed up by no great amount of insight. China is another country, different does not equal bad.
